What the ad tags share
On our website and in the Catertoo app, the Meta Pixel and the Google Ads tag send Meta Platforms and Google a cookie identifier, the pages you visit, and two milestones: creating an account and adding your first client. We use this to measure our ads and to show Catertoo ads to people who have visited us. They never receive your client records, events, proposals, invoices or financial data.
How the opt-out works
Opting out turns off the Meta Pixel and the Google Ads tag on our website and in the Catertoo app, in this browser, by saving a cookie that lasts 400 days. If you clear your cookies, or use another browser or device, opt out there too, or turn on Global Privacy Control, which we treat as an opt-out on every visit. Google Analytics, which counts visits to our own site, stays on, with Google's advertising features turned off. To opt out by email instead, write to privacy@catertoo.com.
